Furniture group in oak wood and light fabric. Set of chairs, stackable chairs, two kinds of armchairs, stools, tables and bedside tables.
Designed during the internship at Studio 63 based in Florence.

Inflatable surfaces’ research

This study about capillary nets starts from observations on leaves.
Later on, the realization of similar geometrical nets helped us to understand 3D inflatable structures.

Kettle for Luxfutura

Luxfutura’s brief: Comunication-lighting-office.

This is a kettle thought for offices’ relax zones. The aim is to stimulate social relations between colleagues during breaks.

The kettle has a light orientated toward the ceiling; the office workers, seeing the bright signal, can decide to have a break with other colleagues.

CDM for IKEA to save paper

This concept is developed to apply Stora Enso’s CDM mechanism to IKEA packaging with the aim to reduce use of paper and plastic.

This technological system by Stora Enso Company is able to melt specific glues used to seal packaging. In this case, CDM substitutes the use of paper and polystyrene layers between the different parts of the IKEA’s furniture fixing them together, so, they will not scratch each other. Using a specific tool, that can be a modified screwdriver, it will be possible to disassemble the packaging.

Levi’s packaging

This is a bag for Levis’ products, where the CDM mechanism from Stora Enso is applied.

The bag takes its shape from a washing machine, with clear window element to show the contents. The prototype is constructed from 300gm Ensocoat cartboard. This is a robust pack that can be re-used many times, becoming a recognizable accessory in itself.

This is a little computer thought to improve the communication between children in hospitals.

It allows to play and to chat between different rooms, improving the situation of children that can’t leave the bed for a long time.

This is a “lunch case” that allows you to have anywhere hot meals thanks to an electrical mechanism connectable to buildings and vehicles.

MelaMangio, concept for Piaggio

This is a one-day project with Piaggio Foundation.

The concept is based on the idea that Vespa is not only a vehicle, but also an icon representing freedom and youth.
So, thinking about a long trip with this scooter, I inserted a table and a drink holder.
